JAI PAUL

Jai Paul, born on 30 June 1988, is a British songwriter, record producer, and recording artist. His early demo 'BTSTU' led to his discovery online and a recording contract with XL Recordings. His songs 'BTSTU' and 'Jasmine' have been regarded as influential on both underground and mainstream pop music in the 2010s. A demo album containing songs for his unreleased debut album Bait Ones was leaked in 2013 and was uploaded by an unknown source, receiving critical acclaim. Following this leak, Paul took an extended hiatus from music. He returned in 2019 with the official release of his leaked album and a double single titled 'Do You Love Her Now / He'. In 2023, he performed live for the first time at Coachella.
