Kevin Devine is an American songwriter and musician born on December 19, 1979. He is from Brooklyn and Staten Island, New York City. Devine is associated with the underground indie rock and indie folk scenes. His influences include Neutral Milk Hotel, Elliott Smith, Pavement, Nirvana, and Bob Dylan. In 2013, he rejoined his previous band, Miracle of 86, for a series of reunion shows.
