About Luna Li

Hannah Bussiere Kim, born October 3, 1996, is a Toronto-based singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer known by her stage name Luna Li. She gained prominence during the early months of the COVID-19 pandemic after videos of her performing multi-instrumental jam sessions at home, featuring harp, keyboard, guitar, and violin, went viral on social media. Kim initially began writing music under the name Veins, releasing the record Moon Garden in 2015. As Luna Li, she self-released her debut extended play Opal Angel in 2017. After signing to AWAL Recordings and In Real Life, she released the jams extended play in 2021, a compilation of her pandemic-era jam sessions. Her debut album as Luna Li, Duality, was released in 2022 through AWAL and In Real Life. In 2024, she released her second album, When a Thought Grows Wings.
