Monsta X is a South Korean boy group formed through the reality survival program No.Mercy under Starship Entertainment. The group originally consisted of seven members, but former member Wonho left in October 2019. The current lineup includes Shownu, Minhyuk, Kihyun, Hyungwon, Joohoney, and I.M. Monsta X debuted with the EP Trespass on May 14, 2015. In March 2017, they released their first studio album, The Clan Pt. 2.5: The Final Chapter, which was the final part of The Clan series. The group has released four Japanese singles certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of Japan and ten Korean albums and extended plays certified platinum by the Korea Music Content Association since 2019. Their 2020 English-language album, All About Luv, reached number five on the US Billboard 200 and number seven on the US Rolling Stone Top 200. Monsta X is known for their aggressive style, which combines elements of hip hop, EDM, and pop.
