The album, Wolf's first in thirteen years, features collaborations with Zola Jesus, Serafina Steer, drummer Seb Rochford and Wolf's sister Jo Apps.

Patrick Wolf, born Patrick Denis Apps on 30 June 1983, is an English singer-songwriter from South London. He uses a variety of instruments in his music, including the ukulele, piano, and viola. His work combines electronic sampling with classical instruments, and his styles range from electronic pop to Baroque chamber music.
