Peter Hook & the Light is an English post-punk band formed in May 2010 by bassist and vocalist Peter Hook, formerly of Joy Division and New Order. The band includes Hook's son Jack Bates on bass, Andy Poole on keyboards, and Paul Kehoe on drums, both of whom previously played with Hook in Monaco. Nat Wason was the group's guitarist at the start, but he was replaced by David Potts in July 2013. The band is known for performing Joy Division and New Order albums live. It has received some criticism from Bernard Sumner and Stephen Morris of New Order and Gillian Gilbert after New Order's reunion without Hook. The band is sometimes accompanied by guest vocalist Rowetta.
