Public Service Broadcasting and Big Special have announced benefit show honouring SO Recordings’ James Borrer
The event also aims to raise awareness around the symptoms of bowel cancer.

Public Service Broadcasting is a British rock band formed in London in 2010 by J. Willgoose, Esq. The band consists of four members known by stage names: Willgoose Esq. (guitar, banjo, strings, samples, and electronics), Wrigglesworth (drums, piano, and electronics), JFAbraham (flugelhorn, bass guitar, drums, and vibraslap), and Mr B (visuals and set design for live performances). Originally a solo project of Willgoose Esq., who released the EP 'EP One' in 2009, the project expanded to include Wrigglesworth and adopted a conceptual approach involving archival footage from films and documentaries. The band released the EPs 'The War Room' and their debut studio album, 'Inform-Educate-Entertain,' in 2013. Their second album, 'The Race for Space,' followed in 2015. JFAbraham joined the band officially in 2016 after working as a session musician. Since then, Public Service Broadcasting has released three additional albums: 'Every Valley' (2017), 'Bright Magic' (2021), and 'The Last Flight' (2024). They have toured internationally and received recognition as a nominee in the Vanguard breakthrough category at the fourth annual Progressive Music Awards in 2015, which they won.
