Ray Blk, born Rita Ekwere on 2 August 1994, is a British singer and songwriter of Nigerian origin. She grew up in Catford, London. In 2017, she won the BBC's Sound of 2017 award, becoming the first unsigned artist to receive the honor. She released her debut mini-album, Durt, on 28 October 2016. In January 2018, she signed with the UK branch of Island Records. Her debut full-length studio album, Access Denied, was released in October 2021.
