Fusing pop inflected melodies with shoegaze and post-punk, Portslade-based Table Football craft wonderfully ramshackle pop songs. Underneath layers of scratchy guitars, catchy melodies rear their heads, creating songs that echo with simplicity and immediacy. Praised for their energetic and lively shows, The five-piece have gigged prolifically in the last year, including two nights supporting The Blockheads. The band have also already been championed by BBC Introducing and other local radio stations.
