About The Used

The Used is an American rock band formed in 2000 in Orem, Utah. The band’s lineup includes vocalist Bert McCracken, bassist Jepha, drummer Dan Whitesides, and guitarist Joey Bradford. Former members include Quinn Allman, Branden Steineckert, and Justin Shekoski. The band gained prominence in June 2002 with the release of their self-titled debut album. They released their second album, In Love and Death, in September 2004, followed by Lies for the Liars in May 2007. An EP titled Shallow Believer, featuring most of the band's B-sides, was released in February 2008. Their fourth studio album, Artwork, was released in August 2009, and their fifth album, Vulnerable, followed in March 2012. In July 2013, they released an EP titled The Ocean of the Sky. Their sixth album, Imaginary Enemy, was released in April 2014, and their seventh studio album, The Canyon, was released in October 2017. Their eighth studio album, Heartwork, was released in April 2020, with a deluxe version including B-sides from the recording sessions released in September 2021. Their ninth studio album, Toxic Positivity, was released in May 2023, with B-sides from the album appearing on Medz in June 2024.
