

Ty Dolla $ign, born Tyrone William Griffin Jr. on April 13, 1982, in Los Angeles, California, is an American R&B singer, songwriter, musician, record producer, and actor. He gained initial recognition through his guest appearance on YG's 2010 single "Toot It and Boot It," which entered the Billboard Hot 100. Griffin signed with Atlantic Records in 2012 and joined Wiz Khalifa's Taylor Gang Entertainment in 2013. His debut extended play, Beach House EP (2014), included the single "Paranoid" featuring B.o.B, which reached the top 30 on the Billboard Hot 100, and the single "Or Nah" featuring Wiz Khalifa and DJ Mustard, remixed with the Weeknd, which received sextuple platinum certification from the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). His debut studio album, Free TC (2015), peaked at number 14 on the Billboard 200 and featured platinum-certified singles "Blasé" featuring Future and Rae Sremmurd, and "Saved" featuring E-40.
