"I need to remind myself that I'm still only in year two of doing this," says Chloe Qisha, something that's hard to believe when considering how much she's grown in that time.
The release of her second EP 'Modern Romance' took her from her fourth ever show at The Great Escape – "Oh girl, I'm sorry you had to see that," she says of the performance, "I'm proud of it for what it was, but it was very daunting for me" – to supporting slots for Sabrina Carpenter at Hyde Park and Coldplay at Wembley Stadium in a matter of months. As scary as the first shows might've been, Chloe was quick to step up and introduce those thousands of punters into her world.
"I think I was maybe a bit psychotic," she says. "There was a side that I definitely had to switch off when going on these stages to be able to perform and not feel hugely that there are tens of thousands of people in front of me, but I had the best time, and I wouldn't have had it any other way. I think everything meant to happen as it did last year. If anything, it taught me to learn the craft of live faster. I still have so much work to do that I want to perfect and get better at."
