Hevy Fest will make its first band announcement tomorrow, Tuesday 26th January at 7pm, organisers have revealed today. Next year’s event will see the festival move to a new location as Port Lympne animal reserve is currently undergoing redevelopment. After a consultation with fans, 19th - 20th August in Newhaven, Derbyshire was picked. Festival Director James Dutton explained late last year: “Searching for a new site has given us the opportunity to explore a more central location in the UK,” Dutton continued, “which is something our fans have been requesting. “Our new home at Newhaven, Derbyshire, offers much easier access from all corners of the UK, and a stunning setting for our small festival. We can’t wait to show you what we have in store.” In 2015, Hevy Fest hosted sets from Coheed And Cambria, Thrice, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Get Up Kids, Fightstar, God Damn, The Fall Of Troy, Touche Amore, Creeper and Milk Teeth.
