Rage Against the Machine have launched an online countdown via their new prophetsofrage.com website, leading to 1st June. At the time of writing that means there’s a little under two weeks left to go. The hashtag #TakeThePowerBack (after a song featured on their 1992 self-titled debut album) is displayed alongside the clock, while similar billboard posters (below) are also on display in Los Angeles. Speculation online has also linked the website name, ’Prophets Of Rage’, with the Public Enemy song of the same name, leading to rumours of a joint tour or festival.
