Here at Dork, we’re always looking ahead - whether it’s highlighting the biggest artists shaping today’s music scene or introducing fresh new talent you need to see live. If there’s one thing we’ve learnt, it’s that the most exciting artists are anything but ordinary. And as festival season winds down, we head straight into autumn with another round of must-see events.

One of the standout names in the new music circuit is Reeperbahn Festival. Held in Hamburg, Germany, this multi-day event draws artists and music lovers from around the world. It’s a key spot for discovering rising stars, and the festival also offers insight into the music industry with panels, discussions, and the prestigious Anchor Award, which recognises the best talent to come out of Reeperbahn. Past nominees include Lime Garden, VLURE, Paris Paloma, and winners like Yard Act.

The 2024 edition is no different. It gathers some of the most exciting acts we’ve been following all year - ranging from emerging talent with just a few tracks out to established artists entering a new phase of their careers. Reeperbahn 2024 is shaping the sound of 2025.

Here are some must-see acts playing at this year’s festival.

Soft Launch

Your new favourite boyband is here. After a whirlwind year of buzz, Soft Launch is continuing their rapid rise. With songs like ‘In My Bed’, ‘Piano Hands’, and ‘Cartwheels’, they’re showing why they’re a band you need to catch live now - before they take the world by storm.
WHERE: Thursday, 8:50 PM @ Headcrash
TRACK: ‘Piano Hands’

Geordie Greep

As the frontman of one of the most influential bands of this generation, Geordie Greep could easily rest on his laurels - but instead, he’s exploring new territory with his solo debut The New Sound. With his first single ‘Holy, Holy’, Greep pushes the boundaries even further, blending guitar riffs with unexpected influences like salsa. Expect an unpredictable but captivating performance.
WHERE: Thursday, 11:10 PM @ Knust
TRACK: ‘Holy, Holy’

Swim School

Swim School delivers a powerful mix of high-energy rock and emotional vulnerability. With their EP ‘Seeing It Now’ and a sold-out UK tour, they’ve been building momentum fast. Reeperbahn could be the start of their next big leap.
WHERE: Saturday, 7:20 PM @ Molotow / Club
