And So I Watch You from Afar is a Northern Irish instrumental rock band from Belfast. The band consists of guitarists Rory Friers and Niall Kennedy, bassist Ewen Friers, and drummer Chris Wee. Former member Tony Wright was part of the band until he was replaced by Niall Kennedy in 2011. The band signed with Richter Collective and announced a deal in North America with management and record label Sargent House in October 2011. They released their self-titled debut studio album on 13 April 2009. Their second studio album, Gangs, was released in 2011 and received favorable reviews. The band’s third studio album, All Hail Bright Futures, was released on 15 March 2013 through Sargent House. Their fourth studio album, Heirs, was released in 2015. Their fifth studio album, The Endless Shimmering, was released on 20 October 2017. On 18 February 2022, they released Jettison, a multimedia long-form ensemble album featuring spoken word contributions from Emma Ruth Rundle and Neil Fallon. Their seventh studio album, Megafauna, was released on 9 August 2024.
