Brockhampton was an American hip-hop group formed in San Marcos, Texas, in 2014. The group was established through online forums and was known for its large, diverse membership and extensive discography. The final lineup included vocalists Kevin Abstract, Matt Champion, Merlyn Wood, and Dom McLennon; producers and vocalists JOBA, Bearface, and Jabari Manwa; producers Romil Hemnani and Kiko Merley; graphic designer Henock Sileshi; photographer Ashlan Grey; web designer Roberto Ontenient; and manager Jon Nunes. Kevin Abstract founded the group, which included members from the defunct Internet music collective AliveSinceForever. Their debut mixtape, All-American Trash, was released independently in 2016. After moving to Los Angeles, Brockhampton released a series of studio albums—Saturation, Saturation II, and Saturation III—in 2017. In 2018, they signed with RCA Records. Following the departure of founding member Ameer Vann amid allegations of sexual misconduct, the group released the album Iridescence, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and received a Brit Awards nomination.
