Heathers are an indie pop act formed in 2007 in Dublin, Ireland, by twin sisters Ellie and Louise Macnamara. They began writing music together in 2007 and recorded their debut album, Here, Not There, in February 2008 at The Hive Studios in Kilcoole, with Eoin Whitfield. The album was released jointly by Irish label Hide Away Records and US label Plan-It-X Records. The lead track, "Remember When," was used in a major advertising campaign by the Irish Tourist Board, which led to the album's re-release through Warner Music Ireland. In 2013, they contributed vocals to Enemies' song "Nighthawk," included in the band's album Embark, Embrace. Their second album, Kingdom, was released in 2014 through Sony Music (Canada / US) and Warner Music (Europe / Asia), and was nominated for the Irish Choice Music Prize. The album's lead single, "Forget Me Knots" (It's Alright Not To Feel Ok), became an anthem in mental health awareness campaigns in Ireland and internationally. In 2016, Heathers released the singles "November" and "Call Home."
