Indecision was an American hardcore punk band formed in the Bay Ridge neighborhood of Brooklyn in 1993. The band disbanded in the summer of 2000 but continued to perform occasionally for charity events. They are known for their song 'Hallowed Be Thy Name,' which features the lyric "For those I love, I will sacrifice." This lyric has been widely tattooed, including on a 19-year-old US Army Infantryman named Kyle Hockenberry, whose tattoo was photographed by Laura Rauch during treatment in a medevac helicopter after an explosion that resulted in the loss of both legs and one arm. The photograph was published in a military newspaper and received an award from the Society of Professional Journalists. The lyric gained popularity among members of the armed forces. Winston McCall, lead vocalist and lyricist of the Australian metalcore band Parkway Drive, has the lyric tattooed across each of his forearms.
