
Jack Hody Johnson, born May 18, 1975, is an American singer-songwriter known for performing in genres including pop, rock, acoustic, folk, and surf rock. His albums have appeared on the Billboard 200 chart, with several reaching the number one position, such as Sing-A-Longs and Lullabies for the Film Curious George (2006), Sleep Through the Static (2008), To the Sea (2010), and From Here to Now to You (2013). His album In Between Dreams peaked at number two on the chart in 2005 and again in 2013. The 2017 studio album All the Light Above It Too debuted at number five on the Billboard 200, marking his seventh top-five album. Johnson is active in environmentalism and sustainability initiatives, particularly concerning the oceans. He and his wife Kim established the Johnson Ohana Charitable Foundation and the Kōkua Hawaii Foundation.
