
Mark Daniel Ronson, born on 4 September 1975, is a British and American musician, record producer, songwriter, and DJ. He has received ten Grammy Awards, including Producer of the Year for Amy Winehouse's album Back to Black (2006). He also won two Grammy Awards for Record of the Year for her single 'Rehab' and his own single 'Uptown Funk' featuring Bruno Mars (2014). Ronson co-wrote the song 'Shallow' for the film A Star Is Born (2018), performed by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper, which earned him an Academy Award for Best Original Song, a Golden Globe, and a Grammy. He served as lead and executive producer for the soundtrack to the 2023 film Barbie, on which he also composed and co-wrote several songs with Andrew Wyatt. The soundtrack received three Grammy Awards, including Song of the Year for 'What Was I Made For?' and Best Song Written for Visual Media, and the album won Best Compilation Soundtrack for Visual Media, from a total of 11 nominations.
