ZHU

ZHU, born Steven Zhu on April 28, 1989, is an American DJ and singer. He has been active since 2014 and is signed to Mind of a Genius Records. Initially, Zhu remained anonymous until mid-2014, requesting that listeners judge his music without knowledge of his identity. His debut album, Generationwhy, was released on July 29, 2016, and premiered at Coachella during his closing set in the Sahara Tent. His performance at Coachella received praise, with some suggesting he could be "the next Daft Punk." Zhu has performed at numerous major festivals worldwide, including Lollapalooza, Outside Lands, Governor's Ball, Electric Daisy Carnival, Hard Summer, Austin City Limits, Sziget, and Ultra Music Festival.
