Chasing you

When we were young I used to sneak glances at you

Why did I have to be so shy

You only saw a friend never even thought about it

Why was it me that helped you get the girls

My mamma said to stay away from you

That boys like you never settled down

But boy oh boy is she wrong

I tell her every time that you'll always be mine

And I'll never stop chasing you 2x

I'll be faster than any car if trouble ever comes your way

So boy keep searching until you notice that thе right girl

Was always standing in front of you

As the years go by I see you look at me diffеrent

Maybe you noticed me or was I your last option

My girlfriends swear your only trouble

But they don't know you like me

They won't understand that

I'll be faster than any freight train if danger knocks on your door

I thinking your mission is coming to a close for now your not so blind

Happily married for years

A couple of kids to call our own and nice big house to live in

Those days of chasing dreams and love
