Keep Smiling

From Woman Of Faces2025

Written by Celeste,

Lyrics

Keep Smiling

When I defend him like I do He's not an ending many would refuse If I forgive him, will I be sure? I'll stretch my limbs to him evermore

It's not the words that I can't say It's just the shame that I can't make Sorry, dear, now you're near, I am not so strong To appear with him here when our war begun

Keep smiling Keep smiling Keep smiling Keep smiling

Curved at the edges, first in a frown Held like the truth is there in my mouth

It's not the worst that I can't be Giving to you and then at least I will find, I'm resigned to the boy and me I forget what he did, turn the other cheek

Keep smiling Keep smiling Keep smiling Keep smiling

Look away, look away From mistakes made Look away, look away From the face that gave Look away, look away Look what you made
