A Father's Prayer

Glory to the Most High, Jah, Rastafari, King of Kings, Lord of Lords, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Elect of God, Light of the world, His Imperial Majesty, Emperor Haile Selassie. Hear my cry. Protect my son David, As he travel this lonely path Steer my son far from bloody men, Who surround him with opinions Bless him with a vision, To distinguish friends from foes. Bless his listeners, With overstanding and patience. And remind the critics, That all Judgement belongs to thee. May the words of I mouth, And the meditation of I heart, Be acceptable in thy sight.
