Dizzy

"Of all the hits you've had, which would you be most proud of?"

"Well, that'd have to be 'Dizzy'."

"And justifiably so, because 'Dizzy' sold, uh, like four million copies, it was number one in the whole world, and it has to be one of the biggest records of 1969 (69, 69)."

[Chorus]

Dizzy

I'm so dizzy, my head is spinnin'

Like a whirlpool, it never ends

And it's you, girl, makin' it spin

You're makin' me dizzy

[Verse 1]

First time that I saw you, girl

I knew that I just had to make you mine

But it's so hard to talk to you

With fellas hangin' round you all the time

[Pre-Chorus 1]

I want you for my sweet pet

But you keep playin' hard to get

I'm goin' 'round in circles all the time

[Chorus]

Dizzy

I'm so dizzy, my head is spinnin'

Like a whirlpool, it never ends

And it's you, girl, makin' it spin

You're makin' me dizzy
