No Work

[Intro: "Telephone Booth 905 1/2" by Pedro Pietri]

Woke up this morning feeling excellent, picked up the telephone, dialed the number of my equal opportunity employer to inform him I will not be in to work today. “Are you feeling sick?” the boss asked me. “No sir,” I replied, “I am feeling too good to report to work today."

[Chorus]

Called off work today

Not Sunday, ain't go to church today

Nah, I ain't hurt today

Just felt too good to work today

They said it don't work that way

Well, I'mma just chill today

That's how I feel today

I'mma have to keep it real today (Too real)

Called off work today

Not Sunday, ain't go to church today (On God)

Nah, I ain't hurt today

Just felt too good to work today (No work)

They said it don't work that way

Well, I'mma just chill today (Just chill)

That's how I feel today (How I feel)

I'mma have to keep it real today (Too real)

[Verse]

Woke up right side of the bed, but today I ain't think about bread

You got bills, rеnt, gotta get fed, so what was you thinking instead?
