4AD are turning Cocteau Twins and Scott Walker albums into football shirts
New York brand Full Kit Wnkrs reworks label classics as football shirts.

4AD have teamed up with New York football-inspired brand Full Kit Wnkrs for a new capsule collection reimagining some of the label’s most iconic releases through the lens of football culture.
Named ‘Complicated Opposition’, the limited-run collection includes a Scotland-inspired Cocteau Twins ‘Heaven or Las Vegas’ jersey, a Scott Walker ‘Bish Bosch’ USA shirt, and a Colourbox x Air Miami scarf tied to the recently released double A-side single featuring ‘World Cup Fever’ and ‘The Official Colourbox World Cup Theme’.
The Cocteau Twins shirt draws directly from the visual world of ‘Heaven or Las Vegas’, featuring a tartan pattern built from colours pulled from the album artwork alongside the band’s ‘Lily Dancer’ logo. Meanwhile, the Scott Walker design takes inspiration from the confrontational maximalism of ‘Bish Bosch’, reworking classic American football aesthetics through the album’s stark visual identity.
The collection has been launched in partnership with Full Kit Wnkrs, the independent NYC brand who have previously created football-inspired designs for artists including Fred Again.., Romy, Mount Kimbie, The National and King Krule.
As part of the campaign, 4AD will also make a donation to War Child.
