Alt-pop duo joan are back and worried about feeling too good with their new single 'magic'
joan unveil their latest track 'magic' along with a music video, following their 2023 album 'superglue'.

joan have released new single 'magic', accompanied by a music video.
The track, which was written and produced entirely by the alt-pop duo - Alan Benjamin Thomas and Steven Rutherford - arrives via Photo Finish Records as their latest offering since 2023's 'superglue' album.
"'magic' is the feeling of something too good to be true, the feeling of living in a dream and wondering when you'll wake up, the feeling that the future must be tragic because the present just feels too good. 'magic' is a romanticization of this beautifully boring life, a reminder that nothing in life — good or bad — lasts," the band explain.
The release also follows recent singles 'heartbodymindsoul' and 'eyes', with the duo continuing to work from their home studio in Little Rock, AR.
