Ama has announced her second album, 'AMA', which will arrive on 19th June via ISO Supremacy and PULSE Records.
The London-raised R&B singer-songwriter is previewing the record on Friday, 5th June with new single 'Holding Back', a track produced by longtime collaborator Dpat. The song follows recent releases 'So...' and 'Need It Bad', the latter featuring Brent Faiyaz.
According to the press release, 'AMA' marks a more direct and stripped-back approach than Ama's 2023 debut album 'I Came Home Late'. The 12-track project also includes a collaboration with Bryson Tiller and explores themes including desire, confidence, femininity and self-discovery.
Tracklist:
Life's Better
So...
Aura (ft. Bryson Tiller)
Creature
Ride Or Die
Need It Bad (ft. Brent Faiyaz)

Following the album's release, Ama will join Ella Mai and Girlfriend on the North American leg of the 'Do You Still Love Me?' tour.
From the Dork archive: back in 2021, Wolf Alice were still wrestling with their pop side. The hindsight thrill is how close they had previously come to resisting the direction of 'Don't Delete The Kisses' that made the whole song land.
