AURORA announces “worldwide digital experience” ‘A Touch Of The Divine’, debuts new track ‘Heathens’

  • December 3, 2021

AURORA has announced ‘A Touch Of The Divine’ – a “worldwide digital experience” where she’ll perform music from her forthcoming album ‘The Gods We Can Touch’ for the first time.

Airing exclusively on the digital platform Moment House, the one-night-only event celebrates her album release the same week, and will be broadcast on 25th January 2022.

“It’s rare for me to present the soul of my music like it will be presented on this Moment,” AURORA explains. “It’s going to be so pure. And so wonderful. I’m excited to show my warriors the universe this album is bringing to us. A small touch of the divine.”

The news comes alongside a new track ‘Heathens’, the fourth single to arrive from ‘The Gods We Can Touch’.

“A long, long time ago, Eve took a bite of a forbidden apple hanging from the tree of evil and good,” she explains. “In her act of doing so, she granted humans free will; I just think that is very beautiful, and I wanted to honour her and women like her, who little by little granted us freedom in this world. A freedom to live as we please, to explore and taste. I think life should be lived in all of its colours, and that is why we live like heathens.”

So there we go. ‘The Gods We Can Touch’ is set for release via Decca on 21st January 2022.
