Billie Eilish has shared a trailer for her new concert film, directed by James Cameron
The 3D concert film arrives in theatres in May 2026 via Paramount Pictures.

Billie Eilish has shared a trailer for her new concert film, 'HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D)', co-directed by James Cameron.
The film, captured during her sold-out world tour at Manchester's AO Arena, will be presented in 3D and released through Paramount Pictures. It is a Lightstorm Earth / The Darkroom / Interscope Films production, with both Eilish and Cameron serving as directors.
Cameron - who is a close friend of Eilish's mother Maggie - came up with the idea of shooting the tour in 3D, and has described the project as "an innovative new concert experience," adding that "no one has ever shot a concert film on this scale before, using tech no one has ever used before."
The film was originally scheduled for release in March 2026 but was pushed back, with Cameron posting that the delay would be "worth the wait," noting "we're refining the cut, dialling in exciting new 3D tech, and adding special behind-the-scenes elements we know you'll love."
'HIT ME HARD AND SOFT: THE TOUR (LIVE IN 3D)' will be available in Dolby Cinema, RealD 3D and premium large formats when it arrives in theatres on 8th May 2026. Tickets go on sale on 16th April via hitmehardandsoftmovie.com.
