The 1975 have won the BRIT Award for Best Rock/Alternative Act.

The category also saw nominations for Arctic Monkeys, Nova Twins, Tom Grennan and Wet Leg.

They were awarded the prize at tonight's (11th February) ceremony, held at London's O2 Arena. Performances on the night include the likes of Stormzy, Wet Leg, Lewis Capaldi, Sam Smith and Kim Petras, Lizzo, Harry Styles and Cat Burns.
