Brooke Combe takes on the toxic male gaze with new single, 'Impress You'
The Scottish newcomer's third single is streaming now.
Buzzy Scottish newcomer Brooke Combe has unveiled a brand new single, ‘Impress You’.
Combe explains: “‘Impress You’ touches on the pressures women can feel to look or act a certain way for men. Hoping to impress them by becoming the ideal woman in their eyes which can be quite hard to obtain.”
‘Impress You’ follows up previous singles ‘A-Game’ and ‘Are You With Me?’, all of which were recorded by The Coral’s James Skelly & Chris Taylor at Liverpool’s legendary Parr Street Studios, and feature Blossoms’ Chaz Salt on bass and Aden Peets on drums.
