Cable Boy have dropped ‘Drought’, a goth disco breakup anthem from their debut album
The five-piece lift a new cut from debut album 'Forever', due in April.

Cable Boy have dropped 'Drought', the latest single lifted from their forthcoming debut album. The Dublin-based five-piece, who describe their sound as goth disco, release 'Forever' on 17th April.
Speaking about the single, frontman Semilore Olusa said: "Drought chronicles the end of a relationship. The dying embers of a passionate flame that once engulfed everything has since fizzled to nothing. Both sides questions how they got here and if there still any love left. Its born out of frustration and sadness about not being able to fix things."
Originally starting out as a project between school friends Semilore Olusa and Liam Murray, the group released their 2019 EP 'WHOLE' before welcoming Corneille Tshibasu, Jason Aikhionbare and Fionn McLoughlin into the fold.
Across Ireland, the five-piece have performed at Electric Picnic, Beyond the Pale, Forbidden Fruit, Other Voices in Dingle and Vicar Street, among others.
