Charli XCX has teased some new material in livestreamed set.
Performing as part of a showcase for Bandsintown PLUS, Charli played out a section of what appears to be a new track, including the lyric “what you want / I ain’t got it”.
There was also a second taster of new material, featuring the repeated hook “don’t think twice”.
In a Q&A that followed the set, she claimed the previews were “special versions” which may not be aired in that form again. However, she again stated that her next record will be “poptastic”, while also stating “it’s my last album in my record deal”.
