Chvrches are stepping up their teasing for new music, with a brand new social media post.
The latest instalment features features the band’s Lauren Mayberry applying make-up in front of a mirror, with some spooky glitching and smudgy lipstick. It’s titled “Video Diary 001: I feel like I’m losing my mind.”
Fans are expecting the first taster of the band’s fourth album to arrive very soon indeed, after a series of posts hinting at something new.
In an interview last year, Mayberry claimed that the new album has “definitely got the Chvrches DNA” but the songs on it wouldn’t “slot into any of the first three records”.
Interesting observation from the video – Lauren’s necklace at the end reads ‘VIOLENCE’. On he band’s third album artwork, she’s seen wearing a necklace featuring the record’s title, ‘Love is Dead’. Just saying, might be something in it.
