Courting have shared ‘Namcy’, the nostaligic, hopeful final single ahead of their new album release

Liverpool band Courting release upbeat single “Namcy” as final preview of their genre-blending third album, arriving March 14th.

Courting want to hit everyone in the face with their third album, 'Lust For Life', due March 2025

Courting have shared ‘Namcy’, the final single from their upcoming album ‘Lust for Life, Or: How To Thread The Needle And Come Out The Other Side To Tell The Story’, set for release on 14th March via Lower Third.

“Namcy is designed to be very hopeful, a stark contrast to the edges of the album. It is straight set – a linear storyline with made up words. Sometimes, I think it’s important to put aside the need to be clever, and get lost in something a bit more nostalgic, slightly unrealistic, very pretty,” says Sean Murphy-O’Neill.

The new album marks Courting’s third full-length release in three years, following their second album ‘New Last Name’. The eight-track record represents what Murphy-O’Neill describes as a “real culmination of everything we’ve done”.
