Damiano David has announced his new single, 'Next Summer'

Damiano David is set to release new single 'Next Summer' on 28th February.

The track marks the third single from the Italian singer-songwriter's upcoming debut solo project, following previous releases 'Born With A Broken Heart', 'Silverlines', and a cover of Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus' 'Nothing Breaks Like A Heart'.

Speaking about the new single, David says: "At first listen, the song speaks about youthful love—an unrequited summer romance. But on a deeper level, it reveals a much larger reflection. It's an allegory of life—How sometimes we can be prisoners of ourselves, our fears, our insecurities, our inability to change. Our failure to see the world and life from a different perspective in the crucial and defining moments of existence."

David first gained recognition as the lead vocalist of Måneskin, who became the first Italian band to achieve global success and received a nomination for Best New Artist at the 65th Annual GRAMMY Awards.
