Death Grips have reportedly disbanded, according to leaked messages from the group.

The experimental hip-hop group’s status has remained unclear since their last release, ‘Gmail and the Restraining Orders’, arrived in 2019. Messages that surfaced overnight appear to indicate the end of the project, with member Andy Morin addressing the band’s future.

In the leaked correspondence, Morin states that MC Ride “doesn’t want to do any more”, though he adds that “none of us can ever predict what will happen with the group”.
