Ethel Cain has covered Drive-By Truckers’ ‘Angels And Fuselage’ for Triple J's Like A Version
Her session also featured a performance of 'Preacher's Daughter' cut 'Thoroughfare'.

Ethel Cain has made an appearance on Triple J's Like A Version series, delivering her take on 'Angels And Fuselage' by Drive-By Truckers.
The track originally featured on the band's 2001 record 'Southern Rock Opera' and holds a personal connection for Cain, who sampled it back in 2021 on a Tumblr-posted demo titled 'Wrestling In Dirt Pits'.
Explaining her choice of cover in a behind-the-scenes interview, Cain shared: "I chose to cover this song because I think it's one of the best songs of all time. And I've got a little list of songs that I consider to be the greatest songs of all time, but this one has always kind of resonated with me specifically. I just knew we had to do it. Simple as that."
During the session, Cain also played 'Thoroughfare', a cut from her album 'Preacher's Daughter'.
