Rostam Batmanglij has remained pretty prolific since he stepped away from Vampire Weekend earlier in the year, and the team-up with The Walkmen frontman Hamilton Letihauser already sounding pretty suave if going by our ears.
Dropping the first track from the project in ‘A 1000 Times’, it follows previous occasions where the duo worked together – particularly on Leithauser’s debut solo record ‘Black Hours’.
Speaking about the project earlier in the year, Rostam teased what was to come:
“I’ve been making a full-length record with Hamilton Leithauser, which I’m very excited about. Our plan is to release it as a duo, basically, and every now and then I get a feeling that it might be one of the best records I make in my whole life. We worked really hard on lyrics and every song tells a story”
