Foo Fighters are 'Caught In The Echo' with the latest track from their from upcoming album

Foo Fighters have released 'Caught In The Echo', their latest offering ahead of twelfth studio album 'Your Favorite Toy', due on 24th April through Roswell Records/Columbia Records.

Arriving alongside an official lyric video, the single joins previous previews 'Asking For A Friend' and the record's title track as the third taste of the album. The record marks the first Foo Fighters LP to feature drummer Ilan Rubin, who took over from Josh Freese, and follows 2023's 'But Here We Are'.

Dave Grohl recently described the album as being packed with "uptempo" and "noisy, loud bangers" that feel like they're from "the old days". When it was pointed out that The Beatles called it quits after their own twelfth album, 'Let It Be', Grohl addressed the question of whether Foo Fighters might do the same. "Every record has been our last record," he said. "So, I kind of feel like at this point you just kind of – you make a record and you go, 'OK, well, let's do it again and let's see what happens'."

Elsewhere, Grohl has spoken about the passing of former drummer Taylor Hawkins, saying it "made me question everything about life" and admitting: "I still have a hard time making sense of it."

A new track called 'Of All People' was debuted during the band's recent intimate performances across Dublin, London and Manchester. This summer, Foo Fighters head out on their European 'Take Cover' tour, with two nights at Liverpool's Anfield stadium among the highlights, alongside appearances at Mad Cool, Nos Alive and Pinkpop. North American dates are also lined up through the summer and autumn months, with an Australia and New Zealand leg confirmed for 2026 and 2027.

The band's intimate 'Live At St James' Church' Dublin performance is also set to stream worldwide and air on television this Easter.
