Ghost have released new single
'Lachryma', the second track to be taken from their upcoming album
'SKELETÁ'.The new song arrives alongside a video featuring the first full performance from newly appointed frontman
Papa V Perpetua. The track follows previous single '
Satanized' from the Swedish band's sixth album, which will be released on 25th April via Loma Vista Recordings.
'SKELETÁ' marks a shift in
Ghost's songwriting approach, moving away from the external observations of previous records to focus on more personal themes. While their last album '
IMPERA' explored the rise and fall of empires, and '
Prequelle' examined historical plagues, the new record takes a more introspective direction across its ten tracks.
The band will support the release with their SKELETOUR WORLD TOUR 2025, beginning at Manchester's AO Arena on 15th April. The tour includes Ghost's first headline performance at New York's Madison Square Garden, with more dates to be announced.
