Grimes has dropped a song snippet from her upcoming new album

Grimes has shared a snippet of new material on Twitter.

Posting the 1-minute-ish clip this afternoon (Thursday 10th January), she reveals that “it’s a balled not a single” so it probably won’t be released until “late”, but it will be on her new album.

The record – her first since 2015’s ‘Art Angels’ – has already been previewed by industrial pop tune, ‘We Appreciate Power’, and is expected later this year.

‘We Appreciate Power’ is billed as “a hard, audacious rock banger which was produced, engineered, performed and written by Grimes and featuring HANA,” and was written from the perspective of a Pro – A.I. Girl Group Propaganda machine.
