Boots
Gotta prepare for that day the heavens open and you regret only bringing a pair of trainers/shoes with you. It took me three or four times attending festivals before I finally learnt my lesson and I've not looked back since.
Sunglasses
Obviously, it helps with the sun shining directly in your face when you're trying to watch one of your favourite bands, but it also helps cover up the inevitable bags under your eyes on day two when the hangover kicks in.
