Human Interest explore anxiety and destruction with their new EP cut, ‘Nuclear War’

Their ‘Smile While You’re Losing (An Audio Guide To Wellness)’ EP is out later this year.

Human Interest have released a new single, ‘Nuclear War’.

Out via Nice Swan Records, the track is taken from the East London band’s forthcoming EP ‘Smile While You’re Losing (An Audio Guide To Wellness)’, set for release on 6th September.

Discussing the inspiration behind ‘Nuclear War’, co-lead vocalist Cat Harrison states: “‘Nuclear War’ is inspired by the notion of nuclear anxiety, and the contemplation of death and afterlife which inherently accompanies that. Within that process is the sad reminder of the cyclical and destructive nature of man, and how right Plato was when he said ‘only the dead have seen the end of war’. It also touches on how nuclear anxiety can be a metaphor for the mundane anxieties we experience in everyday life.”
