J. Cole has released a new song, ‘procrastination (broke)’, in collaboration with producer Bvtman. The release of the song was accompanied by a text message from Cole himself, that explains the origins of the track.
It continues, “This is some shit that would normally stay in the vault, but I don’t want to hold onto the music like that no more. This is for you and whoever else need to hear it. God bless bro and keep doing what you do!”
The new song is the first release from J. Cole since his 'Gangsta Grillz' mixtape in April 2022. He has also been featured on a number of singles from other artists since the release of his 2021 LP The Off-Season, including Smino’s ’90 Proof’ , BIA’s ‘LONDON’, YG and Moneybagg Yo’s ‘Scared Money’ , and Benny the Butcher’s ‘Johnny P’s Caddy’ .
