Lana Del Rey is apparently going to sell her new poetry book for a dollar.

That's what she replied to a fan in an Instagram comment, anyway, which is almost certainly not legally binding but, y'know, she said it.

Writing about the book - titled Violet Bent Backwards Over The Grass - she explained how she's "self publishing" and appealed for "any mom-and-pop SoCal / San Fran book stores that are interesting in having it" to "just let me know and I'll drive you out a couple of boxes when I'm done binding it in a few months."

Lana's collaboration with David Arnold for a video game is thrilling - and also slightly maddening.

Beats Greg from DPD, that. (Hi Greg - Ed!)

Lana also shared a few teasers, which you can check out below.

As well as writing poetry, LDR is set to drop a new album, 'Norman Fucking Rockwell' later this year, with a headline slot at this year's Latitude also on the cards.

Hey! So I’m like super excited about self publishing my first poetry book. And I just wanted to say any mom-and-pop SoCal/ San Fran book stores that are interested in having it just let me know and I’ll drive you out a couple boxes when I’m done binding it in a few months xx
