Lana Del Rey’s ‘Say Yes To Heaven’ looks set to hit the top 10 this week

It'll be her first solo top 10 single in the UK since 'Born to Die' in 2012.

Lana Del Rey‘s latest release, the long-awaited track ‘Say Yes To Heaven’, is set to make an immediate impact on the Official UK Singles Chart.

The track is currently sitting at No.8 on the midweek chart update and looks primed to be the week’s top debut. Co-written and produced with her regular collaborator Rick Nowels in 2012, the song was not originally included on the ‘Ultraviolence’ album or subsequent records. However, once leaked in October 2020, it gained a viral following and was officially released last Friday. If it keeps its current pace, ‘Say Yes To Heaven’ looks set to give Del Rey her first solo top 10 single in the UK since ‘Born to Die’ in 2012.

Kylie Minogue is also looking to make her mark with the release of her new single, ‘Padam Padam’ – currently sat at No.26 on the chart countdown, it looks likely that it will earn her a 52nd top 40 hit.

At the top of the chart, Calvin Harris and Ellie Goulding’s ‘Miracle’ remains in pole position for a seventh non-consecutive week. The final chart will be announced this Friday (26th May).
